How is your relationship with your current partner?
Do you and your partner fight more often than you used to?
Is there a real difference between Filipino relationships compared to other relationships?
From what I noticed from others and close (filipino) friends that are in a relationship, there seemed to be a more trust and respect towards each other and the relationship itself. Us Filipinos value relationship way greater than other cultures. We tend to value romantic relationships because we believe highly in a foundation of a FAMILY. And as we all know, a family begins with the relationship of two people. Therefore, the foundation of building of a family begins with man and the woman.
Loyalty is quite important in most filipino relationships. Loyalty to each other shows the love and respect the partner has for the other person. There is no such thing as divorce in the Philippines, therefor a marriage is seen as a partnership for a lifetime.
