December 19, 2011 Being Materialistic
Lets face it, we PINOYS are one of the most materialistic groups of people in this world. This is proven by the fact that we are one of the largest group of people who migrate to other wealthy countries to find jobs in order get more money. Don’t get me wrong, millions of filipinos are struggling just to have food on the table and a place to sleep. But, as the middle class population in our country increases, so does our addiction and consumption of things that we do not need, hence the newest cellphones, name brand clothes, shoes, bags, electronic gadgets, computers and etc.
It’s just funny to see that once a pinoy has money in his hands, he/she will always be in more favor of spending that money, instead of saving it for a rainy day.
