December 19, 2011 The Pinoy Media
I remember when the “Pinoy Media” was quite funny and ridiculous. Well, I honestly think that it has changed a lot compared to back in the days. As a kid, I grew up with filipino movies that had so much bad and sappy actors and movie plots that were “generic” and quite obvious. It definitely has changed, I have seen pinoy movies and shows with some great quality acting and some awesome plots and twists. Unfortunately there are still plenty of movies and shows that are “garbage” and doesn’t deserve the mainstream stage. But what I love about even the “crappy” movies is the fact that it gives me the sense of that “filipino made” nostalgia and a feeling of familiarity… it always feels like “Home” when I watch these Tagalog/ Pinoy movies.
